You’ve hit the gym and worked hard all year long, or maybe you’re just starting on your healthy living journey; either way, the holidays have a mean way of creeping up and making us feel bad about what we eat and workout schedules.
I mean seriously, raise your hand if you tell yourself every Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner that you will eat less of the fantastic turkey legs or Doro Wot and instead have more of the veggies or drink more water and less alcohol. Or (this is my favorite one, trust me I tried it for years!), I say “I’ll eat healthier food at home before going to my aunt’s or Bini’s family home so I can eat less there”. Can we say PRESSED?!!
What if I told you there was a better way?! If we work on our exercise and eating habits day by day, there would be no reason to hold ourselves back during holiday dinners or any dinner for that matter. We’ll be structured enough to know what we should and should not eat and, therefore, will not need to hold ourselves back during family events. Often, the issue lies in our own behavior. We don’t exercise regularly and then eat everything we see during these dinners (this habit lasts longer than just the holidays, and that’s why people experience weight gain). It’s all about the patterns we install in ourselves and the discipline to work hard for what we want. With that being said… again, what if I told you there was a better way!
I’m committed to helping women everywhere live their best life, and staying healthy/fit is one of the best ways to do that. That’s why I’ve created my first ever e-book full of exercises and a dedicated workout plan for every single day from November 04– December 31(and even into 2020).
This is my first time sharing all my favorite workouts with the world, and I’m so excited! My goal is to provide everyone with the tools they need to stay fit and guilt-free from eating all the delicious meals and, most importantly, the yummy desserts. This doesn’t mean you can eat EVERYTHING you possibly see, but it does mean that you’ve done the work and can enjoy an extra dessert.
What I love most about the Fit by Luwamé e-book is that it can go anywhere with you as long as you have a smartphone and can be done anywhere from your house to a hotel room to the gym. The movements work on balance and strength, while also ensuring your heart rate stays up which is perfect for burning that unwanted fat. There will be explanations for every movement and a clear picture to show how each movement should look.
This holiday, let’s work together and ensure you stay on your healthy living journey. Remember, regardless of where you are on your path to getting fit, I can always help. Email me if you’re looking for a virtual trainer or a personal trainer (for those living in the DMV area). I’d love to help you end 2019 by crushing your goals and begin 2020 with a happier and healthier YOU.
The Fit by Luwamé e-books will be available for purchase on the blog starting November 1st, 2019. I can’t wait to start working with you.
As always, I’d love to hear from you. What are your plans for the holiday season, and how will you stay accountable on your fitness journey?
Yours,
